A Case Report of Strategy Using Hypothesis Testing Applied ICF Tool on Sit-to-Standing for Patient with Stroke

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to describe the intervention strategy using hypothesis testing applied International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Tool about sit-to-standing of patient with stroke. The data was collected by patient with stroke.
The patient was a 49-year-old male diagnosed with left hemiplegia with hemorrhage. I applied the intervention strategy applied ICF Tool to patient with stroke. Parameters of result were collected for self-confidence, sit-to-standing ability and balance ability using Sit-to-stand test and timed up and go test (TUG), Berg balance scale (BBS), Tetrax, respectively.
Clinical benefits were observed the patient with stroke for self-confidence, sit-to-standing ability and balance ability. The patient with stroke improved sit-to-standing ability and balance ability. Patient reported improved sit-to-standing ability and balance ability after intervention.
